Attendees are invited to bring a dish to share with others, choosing either to make a vegetarian dish, or one that is made from locally sourced ingredients. We’ll start with an opening prayer and blessing, then move to eating dinner. There will be a brief presentation on Laudato Si’ and on the Laudato Si’ Action Platform. Three speakers will then give short presentations on the following topics: Sacred Grounds (an initiative through which houses of worship cultivate native habitat on their property and use this habitat for prayer and outreach within the community and with neighbors), the spirituality of Laudato Si’, and on advocating for solutions to the climate crisis. Finally, attendees will choose a break-out session on one of the three topics mentioned above, so that they can learn how they personally can become more involved in Caring for Creation. We’ll all gather together at the end for a Closing Prayer.
