Creation Justice Formation Series

September 28 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm CEST

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until September 28, 2022

St. Paul’s Church, Concord, NH in the unceded land of the Pennacook people, is celebrating the Season of Creation, the annual worldwide interfaith “celebration of prayer and action for our common home,” with a four week series exploring creation and justice. Topics will include:

Session 2 Sept.. 14 — What does tradition (theology, church leaders, mystics and saints) say about creation?

Session 3 Sept. 21 — What do we have to say to and with creation? (options to write, color/doodle, or use your own old magazines or art supplies to make a collage or other art, or to walk or imagine)

Session 4 Sept. 28 — How then shall we live — what do the Bible and tradition say about justice, and how can we work towards justice for all of creation?

All are welcome. Join us for one week or all four! We’ll meet on Zoom Wednesdays in September from 6-7pm. On Sunday Sept. 25 we’ll have Season of Creation To Go material available for anyone who cannot attend on Wednesdays.
