Opening Mass of the Archdiocesan Season of Creation 2022 (Nueva Segovia, Philippines) and the Communal Creation of the Symbolic Burning Bush

On the World Day of Prayer for Creation on the 1st day of September 2022, the Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia will open its celebration of the SEASON OF CREATION 2022 through a Eucharistic Celebration which will be presided over by His Grace Most Rev. Marlo M. Peralta, D.D., Archbishop of Nueva Segovia. Immediately after the Mass, the members of the Archdiocesan Commission on Ecology and all the participants will gather around the Symbolic Burning Bush on which each of the participants will tie a red ribbon, symbolizing their commitment to live out environmental stewardship in their daily lives. This symbolic practice shall be called “The Communal Creation of the Symbolic Burning Bush of Nueva Segovia.”
