The 2021 South African Celebration of Holy Mass In Creation

At the foothills of the Stellenboschberg mountain, lies the Christian Brothers Centre. A Conference and Retreat Centre with excellent facilities for Camps and Workshops. The balance and healthy Ecosystems and their services are protecting and growing the rich Biodiversity. The deep spirituality is found in the chapel, meditation centres, and the tree-filled garden featuring labyrinths and the carefully created areas for meditation and reflection. Right relationships, in recognition of the dignity, connectedness, and interdependence of all of God’s people and the earth.

An island adjacent to the dam surrounded by bullrushes, the home of weavers, frogs and many other birds, small animals and insects is the living chapel where the celebration of Holy Mass will take place.

South African cultural aspects will be included in the liturgy.
