To mark the inauguration of the Season Of Creation and to participate in the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, the governing Bodies of Tamilnadu Catholic Youth Movement (TCYM) and Tamilnadu Young Catholic Students / Young Students Movement (TN YCS/YSM) came forward and organized the Virtual Prayer Meeting on Sep. 1, 2020, at 4 pm. The prayer meeting started with the slogan “Let us protect God’s creation”, followed by the prayer service for the “Mother Earth” to strengthen our mission to protect the Mother Earth. They invoked God’s blessings through a hymn to the Holy Spirit. Continued with the Scripture Reading, a short reflection was given by the Guide, the need for saving the Earth, because it reflects the Creator. Then penitential rites were led by the governing body of TN YCS/YSM to change ourselves against the sins committed against Nature. The prayers of the faithful were conducted by the governing body of TCYM. Thereafter praise and worship through a thanksgiving prayer was conducted by TCYM members. The prayer service came to an end with the final blessing of Rev. Fr. Martin Joseph (Director of TCYM and TN YCS/YSM).
