The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines has a wide range of activities planned to help churches, dioceses, and small groups nourish their spirits during the Season of Creation this month.

The conference is helping facilitate a weekly virtual walk for creation along with creation Masses during the month long ecumenical celebration of praying and taking action for our common home.

In addition, CBCP is warmly encouraging all Catholics in the Philippines to fill their Spirits with God’s love by taking part in the other online activities planned for the Season of Creation, such as the weekly webinars focused on a just transition and other webinars organized by Global Catholic Climate Movement – Filipinas.

“We commend the initiatives of the GCCM, and we endorse these programs for possible implementation in your respective arch/dioceses,” wrote Bishop Pablo Virgilio S. David, the Bishop of Kalookan and the acting president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines.

“Let us continue to pray and respond resolutely to the call of Laudato Si’ to care for our common home.”
