Redland Parish
Christians around the world celebrate the Season of Creation in a rich variety of ways. Anglicans call their observance Creationtide, and this year it extends from Sunday, September 8 to Sunday, October 13.
At Redland Parish in Bristol, UK, the church will host more than a dozen Creationtide events for congregants and local residents. These include Sunday services and mid-week talks, both at Redland Parish and at nearby Trinity College. Highlight speakers include:
- Dr Justin Stratis, tutor in Christian Doctrine at Trinity College, with a planned visit by a Ugandan bishop to provide a global perspective.
- Steve Nicholls, wildlife photographer, filmmaker and writer, who will screen a film and discuss “All my Relations: Stewardship of Nature Around the World.”
- Engagement with the Green Party and Sustainable Redland to learn about local, national and international concerns and how to encourage culture change at Redland
